Reagen, Carly, and a few good friends ventured out amoung the vampires last night... or should I say this morning. Twilght had its premire showing in Mesquite at midnight. I know, I know, some of you may think "BAD MOM" ... "your children should be at home in bed so that they can get up and go to school in the morning". The school will forget that they were absent in a week but this is a memory that they will have forever. The night that Mom took us to the movies at midnight! That will not be gone in a week! ESPECIALLY since some of the actors were there at the premire! When we arrived at the theatre, we found a red carpet rolled out in front. Soon after arriving a limo pulled up in front and Michael Welch, who plays Mike Newton in the film walked up the red carpet stopping long enough for photos and some chit chat with the girls. The cell phone cameras had a work out last night. I will post more later. It was fun to share the night with my girls and see their excitement knowing that they were watching Twilight for the first time with one of the characters in the same room. It was fun to her their whoops and hollars thru out the movie and to hear the actors whoops and hollars as well. Also present were some of the actors from other shows such as Pirates of the Caribbean and others.

Okay, I really think you are an awesome MOM for letting the girls in on this. There were premiers everywhere, but not with the red carpet and more stars to boot. This is a really cool post. Two of my daughters were at the midnight showing last night in St. George. but they just got posters, but not any pictures with stars. I LOVE IT!
Shirley, you are such a sweetie...you AND your adorable daughters!
I am very excited to be coming back to the ward! Oh, how I love the 6th Ward!!!
Give those girls big hugs from me!
Can't wait to see you all!
Em
